THE second half of 2025 is proving busy for me.
After 33 years of Travelling Places I am taking the opportunity to take long service leave, so I will be in and out of the office over the next few months.
Renee, Sienna, Jodie and Krista are all at hand in the office weaving their magic to ensure your travel is a fabulous experience.
In June I travelled to India – not the best time of year to travel there because it is hot and sticky (think Darwin in Summer), I would normally recommend that you travel between October and April for the cooler months.
Uniworld River Cruises were wonderful as always.
This time I sailed down the Ganges and then travelled to the Taj Mahal and the pink city Jaipur.

Recently I sailed on the Seven Sea Explorer down the coastline of Alaska – discovering remote wilderness areas by day and an array of wonderful restaurants in the evening.
It is a joy to be on holiday and know that at the end you can hop off without a penny to pay – even your laundry is included!
Call into ports around the Mediterranean; explore the fjords of Norway; sail the coastline of Eastern Canada in autumn or visit Japan for the Cherry Blossom festival.
