Clinic offers $1000 Giveback Award

FOR more than 20 years Tamborine Mountain Dental has been caring for the dental needs of its many local clients.

The family-owned clinic has literally been maintaining the smiles of the community .

Dentist Dr Sandeep Gupta said while technological progress in the field of dentistry had seen procedures advancing quickly, the fundamentals of Tamborine Mountain Dental had always remained the same.

“We are focussed on prevention of dental problems and providing complete oral health care, which allows our clients to smile confidently,” he said.

“Besides regular brushing and flossing, we recommend that everyone has a thorough dental examination every six months.

“The average mouth has hundreds of different strains of bacteria, and some can be harmful.

“It is important for everyone to be aware that oral bacteria is linked to respiratory infections, cardiovascular disease, premature birth, diabetes and dementia.

“Additionally, poor oral health can affect your sense of well-being, making it more difficult to socialise with others and eat comfortably.”

As a dedicated member of the community Tamborine Mountain Dental has noted with concern the impact of recent natural disasters and has decided to try and assist someone in need.

They are asking for locals to nominate a family or an individual to receive $1000 worth of free dental treatment.

You have until April 18 to put forward a nomination by either contacting the clinic via email, on their Facebook site or by private message.

You can nominate a person more than once.

The person with the most nominations will be contacted and an appointment will be arranged.
