THE Gold Coast District RSL holds its Annual General Meeting at a different RSL Sub Branch each year.
This year it was the turn of the Tamborine Mountain RSL Sub Branch to act as host.
A commemorative service was held at the Tamborine Mountain Circle of Remembrance on Saturday February 8, 2025.
District President, Pat Fairon, and Sub Branch President, Phillip Hunter, conducted the service, which was followed by the meeting and luncheon.
Members from around the Gold Coast District as well as local members were in attendance.
It was the first service for the Tamborine Mountain Sub-Branch’s new Padre, Reverend Dr Richard Martin, who offered prayers and Benediction at the service and said grace later at the luncheon.
