The Business Chamber Tamborine Mountain, is seeking sponsorships for the 2026 Scarecrow Festival, which is set to go ahead from October 30 to November 1.
This year will include the first centralised festival, hosted by Cauldron Distillery, which will be happening in addition to the usual Scarecrow Trail.
“This year we’re doing our first proper festival at the Cauldron Distillery, and we’re hoping for 2000 to 2500 people over those three days,” Treasurer Janice Smart explained.
With this year’s festival being larger in scope, sponsorships will play an important role in having the various events run smoothly.
“Sponsorships are important because we are having three bands play, community groups on stage, highland cows, stilt walkers, as well as advertisement costs”, she said.
Sponsoring the festival will also support local businesses throughout the weekend.
“It’s to help those businesses get the people into their shops over those three days and getting people to stay longer,” Janice said.
“Not just to come up for the day, but to stay the two nights, and a festival will help do that.”
Packages start from $250 and for enquiries, contact Janice Smart at tmscarecrowfest@gmail.com.
