Unknown Fungus – MacDonald National Park.
Over the duration and extent of my biodiversity project, experts have told me that some species I have asked them to identify are new to science, most notably certain moths and spiders.
It is just over five years since my last video session.
This fungus, which I filmed on a fallen tree in January 2013, baffled the expert who wrote: “If you ever see it again let me know and I’ll try and get up there and collect some.”
Needless to say, I never have. I wish you a good 2026.
