TMCA 50th anniversary

Life Members

APPROXIMATELY 100 people attended Tamborine Mountain Creative Arts’ 50th anniversary.

Guests included family members of the founding members, previous Patrons and Past Presidents.

The MC on the day was Vanessa Bull with local councillors – Amanda Hay and Kerri Cryer also attending.

A new Honour Board was unveiled, honouring 16 Founding Members, Life Members and Patrons.

TMCA’s new Patron is Jan Bates, who unfortunately was unable to attend due to illness.

Instruction from within the group is the aim of the handicraft association which includes quilting, crochet, knitting, embroidery, pottery and basket weaving as well as bridge, mahjong, painting and creative writing.

As members become proficient, they are able to help new members in their chosen craft or art.
