Which vehicle will be your ‘Peoples’s Choice?’

HELP determine the People’s Choice trophy winner at the Tamborine Mountain Car Show this Sunday August 4. 

Hosted jointly by Rotary e-Club of NextGen and the Men’s Shed, in excess of 2,000 spectators are expected at this major South-East Queensland event.

Over 200 motoring enthusiasts will display their vehicles in the hope of winning the coveted People’s Choice trophy, which is determined by spectator votes. 

Make your vote count and, if you choose the People’s Choice winner, then your voting slip will be included in a draw for $100 cash, courtesy of Eagle Heights Hotel. 

Other voting-slip, lucky-draw prizes are Rainforest Skywalk Family passes and accommodation vouchers at The Manor.

Trophies, uniquely designed and hand-crafted by local Men’s Shed members, are awarded for the People’s ChoiceBest Bike, Best Muscle, Best Antique/Classic and Best Custom Car.  Trophy winners also share in $2,200 prize money donated by Eagle Heights Hotel, Tamborine Mountain Tyres, Tamborine Mountain Auto Clinic, Carlo’s IGA Store and The Manor.

To register display cars and bikes, complete your entry online using the QR code or web page link in the accompanying advertisement. Display vehicle $5.00 registration fee covers the driver’s or rider’s entrance.

Enjoy a carnival atmosphere with over 20 food and beverage vans, market stalls as well music by the local Bella A’Cappella Choir and Tamborine Mountain Jazz band.

Public entry is $10, with children, 16 years and younger, free. Pay by cash or EFTPOS on entry, or purchase tickets online accessing the car-show web page. Ample free public car parking will be available on the grounds.

Six lucky raffle winners will go home with a $1,200.00 Sidchrome mobile, 5-drawer mechanics toolbox, a $500.00 ‘Stay and Play’ golf package courtesy of the The Manor and Tamborine Mountain Golf Course, $460.00 Treetop Challengetickets, $161.00 Gold Coast Wake Park vouchers, $120.00 Gold Coast Motor Museum vouchers or a $96.00 Glow Worm Caves family pass.
