The year in review

Physique Merry Christmas
Physique Merry Christmas

It feels like each year gets bigger and bigger, so allow me to attempt to recap and show my appreciation  for the year 2024.

This year Annie has come onboard. We have expanded our ability to treat paediatric clients in Jimboomba with our satellite clinic. We have opened our brand new Main St studio and continued to provide Pilates and Fit For Life classes and due to our newfound space installed some heavier equipment and started our brand new class, Power For Life!

We celebrated Steve’s 10 year work-anniversary, continued our Physique Christmas in July traditions and have been having some epic Friday themed lunches.

It’s been another big year of growth for all the little people around Physique and we have loved sharing our baby photos with you all, the teenagers aren’t quite as willing for us to share. And of course, we welcomed baby Huxley to the extended Physique family – Congratulations again Jacqui & Jack.

Heading into 2025 I must firstly acknowledge Steve, he will officially finish up as a physiotherapist in February. It is very bittersweet as although we are excited for this next chapter for Steve, we will miss him greatly in clinic. Steve, thank you for the 10 years you have put into your patients at Physique. Your presence and wisdom has been life changing for many, I know there will be much more say early next year but I hope you can understand even just an ounce of the effect you have had in many people’s lives.

Another bittersweet moment for us as Matt leaves Physique at the end of 2024 to move to Perth. We are so grateful for the leadership you have provided and knowledge you have imparted to patients. We will miss you but look forward to seeing your future adventures.

Thank you to Robyn for the kindness, gentleness and energy you have put into your classes and patients. Our classes are loved and smooth because of you, we are very grateful.

Thank you Caitlin for your dedication and joy. You have transformed this year. Your clients adore you and the work you have put into building our paediatrics service is so valuable to the families whose lives you enhance.

Thank you to Jacqui, working through pregnancy is no mean feat and you handled it with grace. We have loved watching you with Hux. Thank you to Dave, we love having your presence in the clinic, your banter and your deep care to all.

Thank you Annie! We are thrilled you chose to begin your career with us. Your growth this year has been incredible, your clients love their sessions with you and your Pilates classes are brimming with enthusiasm and fun (as well as costumes).

To our practice manager Ingrid. We are so grateful to you for the person you are. Yes, the work you do is extremely valuable but we are all better off just by having you in our lives.

Our admin team – Kylee, Janina and Bronie; the effect you have on our clients cannot be understated. Physique is such a warm, special and enjoyable place to visit because you make it so. That is not an easy thing to achieve when most who visit are coming in pain.

Thank you to Neil & Bec for your wisdom and love. What a team and environment you have grown and nurtured.

Special thank you to my husband, Hayden. You are incredible mentor to our staff, an incredible physio and an incredible dad.

Last but not least, thank you for the support and trust from every person who has set foot in our doors this year.

Have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year! Let’s go 2025!
