The annual Tamborine Mountain Show is just around the corner, and this year it’s bringing a frosty surprise, as well as a plethora of free activities.
Landing at Tamborine Mountain Showgrounds on Saturday June 20, the beloved community event is always a standout weekend.
Step into a Winter Wonderland and make your way through the snowy forest before entering the show.
There will be plenty of free fun for the whole family, including face painting, hula hooping, balloon twisting, photo booth, chicken display, reptile show, fire twirler performance, petting zoo and the snow experience.
If you’re feeling competitive, enter one of the many competitions the show is hosting, including a talent show, photography, crafts, and baking.
It will be a community effort, with students from Tamborine Mountain College helping with face painting and games.
The show hopes to engage the community with important causes, including Guide Dogs Australia.
There will be a stall educating the community on all things guide dogs, and they may just be bringing a four-legged helper.
The Tamborine Mountain Show is pulling out all the stops for entertainment, including a highly anticipated 70s-themed show from local Queensland band The Accidents.
Think non-stop 70s hits and dancing all afternoon into the night.
Along with The Accidents, the Tamborine Mountain High School band will also be performing throughout the day.
Visitors will be spoilt for choice for food on the day, with a selection of local market stalls coming along.
End the day by watching the fireworks and visiting the Winter Wonderland photo booth to commemorate a special family day out.
