The Tamborine Mountain Eagles proudly celebrated Female Football Week at Long Road Sports Centre with players, coaches, and parents from the Eagles Girls teams coming together for a wonderful evening of football.
With women’s football growing each year across the nation, the Tamborine Mountain Eagles are proud to have three girls’ teams at the club in 2025, with the ambition to increase that number even further next season.
The U15s Division 1 Girls, U13s Division 2 Girls, and U9s Girls all came together to celebrate their success and the continued growth of women’s football in Australia.
There were plenty of fun games and activities, prizes, and ribbons as we rounded out a special night with a BBQ and a raffle.

Tamborine Mountain Optometrists partnered with the club as a major sponsor, while Tranquil Massage, Witches Falls Winery, Mountain Brew Cafe, and Eco Hair kindly donated a plethora of terrific prizes for the Female Football Week Raffle.

As a club, it was a great honour to be able to celebrate the hard work, dedication, enthusiasm, and success of the girls’ teams at the Eagles, and they are thankful to have such a great cohort of players, coaches, and parents who continue to champion the growth of girls’ football in Queensland.
