The Tamborine Mountain Bridge Club celebrated the arrival of a new defibrillator thanks to a Scenic Rim Regional Council Community Grant.
The defibrillator will bring reassurance to the mostly older almost 60 members of the club.
Secretary of the club Lewis Adams said all directors had also undergone CPR training to ensure they are well equipped to treat any medical emergency.
