TAMBORINE Mountain Bridge Club’s Club Championships were held recently, with Peter Zaremba and Wendy Christie taking the coveted trophy on the day.
Club Member Dianne Crichton said it was a great week for the Club, who operate from the Tamborine Mountain Bridge Club at the Sports Grounds on Long Road.
“Everyone was so thrilled and we had a fabulous day, albeit everyone was very weary at the end of the day,” said Dianne.
“What a fabulous week for the Tamborine Mountain Bridge Club, which culminated in the running of the Club Championship on Thursday.”

The Tamborine Mountain Bridge Club now runs supervised play every Friday at 1pm, which is a unique opportunity for new players to learn.
Players can play hands in a relaxed atmosphere and are able to ask for advice and discuss options.

Social bridge is held on Tuesdays at 9am for those who want to just have some fun whilst playing hands.
Both Tuesday and Friday bridge costs only a gold coin with tea, coffee and biscuits provided.
