Zen Water Meditation
Zen Water Meditation

We have a Yoga Retreat coming up on Friday March 21 to 23, 2025 in Springbrook.

My retreats change every year and as I grow as a yoga teacher, so my retreats reflect this depth of awareness and progress for body, mind and spirit.

Attracting students seeking this growth and change.

On this retreat I will be teaching the students the principles of Centred Yoga.

All movement is a manipulation of your centre of gravity, and how you use that centre of gravity determines how in sync you are with the forces that act upon you: physical, mental and emotional stressors.

The human being is a spine-based organism. Our body emerges from this midline, budding arms and legs.

All movement should emerge from a supple, dynamic centre. So instead of moving from your periphery, putting unnecessary stress on your limbs and joints, you will learn to move, breathe and think from your centre.

We can change our mental and emotional states through movement. This is somatic yoga.

So instead of being caught up in the narrative of the why, as we tune into the body, how it feels and moves, we can learn to release long held patterns.

Your body’s natural movements are tied to energy flow, and stagnation is the enemy of both physical and mental health.

We all know someone who is deeply centred.

They are nice to be around.

Your centre is the true home of your physical self: a place of calm, integrity, love and personal power.
