The travel industry is interesting at the moment – initially when things kicked off in the Middle East everything went very quiet and we spent our time rearranging already booked travellers to fly via Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei rather than the Middle East.
One person has cancelled concerned about what is happening in the world and everyone else has taken the view to go ahead.
I too am travelling to Europe and currently I am booked to return through Dubai.
Emirates have advised they will recommence flying into Brisbane from May 1 on a daily basis.
When I was in Asia I saw a number of Emirates aircraft on the ground and they have been flying into Sydney and Melbourne for a few weeks now.
