The Tamborine Mountain Taipans rescheduled the Vance Bell tournament from May 2 to Saturday, May 23.
Most teams have indicated that they will be able to attend on the deferred date.
The weather on May 9 was much better and allowed the Mountain Mates Buddy Bowls Day to go ahead as planned.
It was a terrific success, and the Tamborine Mountain Taipans are very proud to be involved in this wonderful joint venture with Tamborine Mountain Lions.
Special kudos to club member Barry Chatel who, along with Janis Bailey and the Lions, make it all possible.
The club would like to offer thanks to Rasta Graphics for going above and beyond in helping the club ‘dress up’ for our events, creating a more festive atmosphere.
Thanks also to Club Helensvale, who gifted our local Bowls Club seven rink scoreboards that they no longer needed – a great show of how strong the bowls community in general supports each other with such a large club helping the smallest club.
