
THE Tamborine Mountain Orchestra is set to kick off its 2025 season on Sunday, March 30, at 2.30pm at Tamborine Mountain State High School.
Following the tremendous success of their 50th anniversary season in 2024, this concert promises to be a thrilling start to another vibrant season.
The orchestra’s performance will feature a selection of iconic music from the stage and screen.
Highlights include captivating pieces from legendary composer John Williams, with memorable soundtracks from Jaws and Star Wars.
These exhilarating pieces are sure to transport the audience to some of the most iconic moments in film history.
A special treat for opera lovers is the performance by soprano Jemma Anderson, a talented young vocalist and student at Coomera Anglican College.
A passionate classical singer, Jemma has garnered numerous awards throughout her budding career.
She will showcase her stunning voice with arias from The Magic Flute and Puccini, adding a touch of operatic elegance to the afternoon.
The TMO greatly appreciates the assistance of TMSHS for the use of their wonderful auditorium for concerts and rehearsals.
