THE Tamborine Mountain Eagles recently held their 2025 Presentation Day at Geissmann Oval, celebrating the conclusion of an eventful year while recognising the hard work and achievements of our players, coaches, and volunteers.
Hosted at the spiritual home of the Eagles, we welcomed all of their junior players to reflect on a fantastic year of development and fine football. While we took a moment to commemorate each team and their season, we also recognised the special achievements of certain teams and individuals.
Congratulations to this year’s Club Award Winners:
Coach of the Year Winner:
This year’s Coach of the Year is Ben Canavan, who coached our U18s Division 1 Boys to a third-place league finish and a place in the semi-finals.
Team of the Year Winner:
This year’s Team of the Year winner is our U13s JPL Boys, coached by Chandler Milligan and Christian Milligan. The boys are our only JPL team, which is the highest competition at community level, and had a remarkable year despite being massive underdogs.
Girls’ Player of the Year:
This year’s Girls Player of the Year is Kimberley Bent, who captained the team, scored dozens of goals and was crucial in helping our U15s Girls earn a place in the semi-finals!
Boys’ Player of the Year:
This year’s Boys Player of the Year is Nick Bent. He was a key player in our U18s Boys side, and also our most consistent referee throughout the season!
Volunteer of the Year:
This year’s Volunteer of the Year is Kristy Spindler! She coaches our U13s Girls and guided them to their first-ever win this season. She was also key in helping to deliver a successful Female Football Week event on Tamborine Mountain.
