Tamborine Mountain Sports Association’s recent pie drive raised $2,000 for the Association, which TMSA President Alick Kilsby said will go directly to the operational expenses for the Long Road sporting grounds.
Ten thousand dollars worth of pies were sold, netting the $2,000 return to the Association.
“Thank you to the community for such outstanding support of this initiative, I’m looking forward to improving on this result next year,” said Alick.
Bushrats Rugby League Club sold over $2,500 in pies and received sporting equipment vouchers to the value of $750 as the highest fundraiser.
