Food, wine, dancing and beautiful scenic views.
That’s what Tamborine Mountain’s live music event Spirit of the Mountain is promising guests.
Australian artist Tim Freedman is headlining the signature event at Cauldron Distillery on May 30.
Performing with his four-piece band, The Moonlit Deck, which he describes as a hybrid of The Whitlams and his Americana outfit The Whitlams Black Stump, Freedman will deliver a dynamic set spanning his iconic catalogue, including fan favourites Blow Up the Pokies and No Aphrodisiac, alongside more recent releases.
Freedman will also be supported by local band The Inadequates.
Held as part of Scenic Rim Eat Local Month, this event is not to be missed.
Enjoy an afternoon of music, crafted cocktails and celebrate local paddock to plate in a picturesque setting.
The festival offers a chance to celebrate the beginning of the Eat Local Month festivities with an open-air concert experience while enjoying delicious food and cocktails.
Co-Founder of Cauldron Distillery, Darren Stewart, shared his excitement for the event.
“Spirit of the Mountain is all about bringing people together to enjoy incredible live music in a relaxed, welcoming setting,” he said.
The iconic distillery with transform into a vibrant cultural hub for music lovers and foodies.
The distillery will be serving signature cocktails crafted with Cauldron’s award-winning spirits, along with a selection of beverages from local and surrounding vendors, including Witches Falls Winery, Brouhaha Brewery and Boxer Brewing.
The event will showcase a specially curated menu with local produce, native ingredients and the hard-working community who cultivate it.
The festival begins at 2pm, with tickets starting at $65 and $100 for VIP tickets. The event is suitable for the whole family and children under 12 have free admission.
“Having Tim Freedman perform here on Tamborine Mountain is something really special – not just for music fans, but for the region as a whole. It’s the perfect way to kick off Eat Local Month.” Darren said.
