I first met Steve Schamburg 16 years ago.
At that stage he was my patient. He then became my work colleague, and then my employee. And, over the course of time, he has become my friend.
For the past one and a half decades he has provided me with friendship, care, love, support, guidance and kindness.
I am so very grateful to have had his wisdom and quiet strength beside me.
I thank him for everything that he has done in this wonderful community.
He has been, and will continue to be, an integral part of so many people’s lives.
He is an amazing man with such a depth of compassion and desire to love and help others and we have been very blessed to have had him at Physique.
Steve is a central part of Tamborine Mountain.
He is at the very heart of everything that happens in so many people’s lives.
There are many people who owe to him their ongoing health and well-being.
In fact, there are people in this community who could not have managed to function without his intervention.
On behalf of all of them, I say, thank you, Steve.
Steve is a light. He shows people a way to a better future, and he walks with people as they move towards that future.
This isn’t just in his professional life, but he also does it with his wonderful kids and his beautiful wife and his dear friends. He shares generously and he cares deeply.
Steve has impacted me greatly.
He always makes me see things in another perspective.
He is so giving of himself, and he meets people where they are.
He has made me want to be better at this as well.
I can truthfully tell everyone that my life is considerably better off for having Steve Schamburg as a part of it.
Steve will be missed at Physique.
He is highly valued for his clinical skills, his prowess in teaching, his experience, his leadership, his fun, his guacamole making talent, his unique perspective, his kindness, his depth of knowledge, his expertise, his wisdom, his guidance, his friendship, and his love.
I wish him nothing but love and success as he moves onto the next part of his journey.
One thing I am certain of is that he will make a difference wherever he goes and whatever he does.
I love you Steve and I will never forget all that you have given me.
Thank you, my dear friend and God bless.
