Kitchen Aids: These are tools designed to assist with cooking and meal preparation, such as jar openers, easy-grip utensils, and non-slip mats.
Cognitive Aids: Medication reminders, orientation clocks, and sensory items help individuals with cognitive impairments reduce anxiety while managing daily tasks.
Bathroom Aids: Grab bars, shower chairs, and raised toilet seats can make personal hygiene /care and more accessible and safer.
Mobility Aids: Wheeled-walkers, walking frames, wheelchairs, crutches and canes that help individuals move around safely and independently, reducing the risk of falls and enhancing mobility.

TMCCA stocks a range of bathroom and mobility aids that ‘anyone can hire’ on short term basis. These include wheelchairs, wheeled walkers/frames, bed side rails, shower chairs, over toilet frames, walking sticks and crutches.
Our hire charges are $30 per month per item. Crutches have no charge. The fees received are used to provide services to Seniors, for them to enjoy living in their own homes independently as long as possible.
