Mitre 10 Mount Tamborine Manager Mark Stanley is pleased to advise the store will be reopening for Sunday trading from September 21, 2025.
“We have listened to your feedback noting the value of the store being open seven days a week to serve the local community – whether you have a big shopping list or you’re literally only one item short of what you need!” Mark stated.
“We’re excited to reopen every Sunday from 8am – 1pm, to support your weekend project needs and avoid the need for you to travel off the mountain – because we’re all aware of how precious our time is on weekends.”
Many of the regular customers and account holders will have noticed recent changes within the store, including a change of ownership from October 2024.
New owner, Tony Richardson, has over 30 years’ experience owning and operating hardware stores with a strong community-minded approach – centred around customer service, consistency and flexibility to meet customer needs.
“Over the last 10 months, our staff have been busy increasing our stock level and product range while benchmarking items to ensure we offer competitive pricing.
“We are proud of this significant effort and investment to offer a sustainable, long-term business to serve the local community and we sincerely value your continued support,” Tony said.
