The Tamborine Mountain Canungra Cricket Club, the Bushrats, hosted the Cricket Transplant Bash for the ninth year running to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation.
The match, held on the weekend of April 13 and 14 was important in raising awareness of a topic very close to the hearts of those who played.
A father and daughter team and the first ever mother and son team played together over the weekend.
Bark’s Bushrats took out both the Chris Wills trophy and the Leah Barker trophy.
The Club’s Facebook page stated that the proud parents couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces – it was rare for them to get the chance to take to the field with their children.
