Pethers Rainforest Retreat recently opened their doors for a monthly high tea which is not to be missed.

The refined and elegant experience nestled in the rainforest offers a tranquil escape for a couple, a chance to catch up with friends or celebrate a special occasion.

With seating for only 20 guests at a time you are guaranteed attentive personalised service.

The food is prepared by head chef, Alex Fee and pastry chef, Leo Petty with a focus on using local produce, some of which is sourced onsite and combines unique flavours.

As soon as you walk through the large doors you are transported to a tranquil haven, elevated amongst the trees. The atmosphere and setting really sets Pethers high tea apart from anywhere else and leaves you feeling like you’ve had a holiday for just a few hours.

Adding to the uniqueness is their partnerships with local businesses such as The Coffee Plantation.

“We would like to broaden the experience beyond high tea by partnering with local artists, photographers and food producers. providing guests with a sense of all that the mountain has to offer,” manager Paul Hayden said.

High tea will be available on the last Sunday of each month and is $65 per person.
