THE U12s Eagles’ Quokkas pulled off the unthinkable, completing the entire season with 15 wins and one draw.

It was a miraculous year, with the boys banding together to secure some incredible victories against competitive opponents.

Despite only having one substitute and often missing players through illness or injury, the boys always supported each other and gave 100% on the field.

Led by Coach Hugo, our U12s Quokkas have been one of our highest-performing teams on Tamborine Mountain, showing up to training twice per week with bright smiles and brilliant attitudes.

The boys were always eager to help the U12 Kangaroos when they were low on players and consistently showcased the Eagles’ spirit and community essence that the Club prides itself on.

Among their most impressive results, the boys enjoyed a 10-1 victory, a 9-0 triumph, and an 8-0 demonstration en route to their impressive unbeaten campaign.

This season didn’t come without its challenges.

Facing a strong Magic United side, Hugo’s boys found themselves 3-1 down before fighting back to secure an enthusiastic victory!

With a balanced squad and outstanding talent across the park, the boys were relentless in attack and resolute in defence.

They scored the most goals of any of the Eagles teams in 2024.

They provided entertainment through their courage and passion for football and always showed respect towards their opponents after each game.

The boys celebrated jubilantly after the final whistle blew on their campaign.

Playing away against Ormeau under sweltering hot conditions, the boys showed resilience to battle from behind to defeat a determined opponent.

This is a testament to the quality and dedication of these U12 boys.

The Club is looking forward to seeing the boys play in 2025 when they enter Junior Divisional football for the first time!
