Welcome and congratulations to our eight local newest Australian citizens who participated in a citizenship ceremony on September 17 and have chosen to make our Mountain their home. They have come from diverse countries: UK, NZ, South Africa, Belgium, South Korea and Germany.
Springtime on the Mountain – on this weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A great opportunity to see a diverse selection of stunning gardens and see what grows and where.

Cedar Creek Falls Road – the silly season is upon us when all common sense in relation to parking flies out the window. Yellow lines and “no parking” signage only apply to some it seems, and following issues on this road, Council has undertaken road resurfacing, line marking and improved signage, largely due to safety concerns and limited access for emergency services vehicles. Please encourage visitors to park where permitted.
Long Road Sports Complex – NO off-leash dogs are permitted. Please be a responsible owner.
New development applications – there are 4 new applications seeking boundary setback relaxations for carports in front yards. Hardly conducive to improving the amenity of the locality.
