THE German Cuckoo Clock Nest (GCCN) will celebrate three decades of dedication to the art of clockmaking and German heritage this month.
Founded in 1994, the family-owned business began as a modest husband and wife team and has evolved into a cherished local landmark, now employing a team of ten passionate clock enthusiasts.
To mark this significant milestone, the community is invited to celebrate the occasion on October 12 from 10am to 4pm at the German Cuckoo Clock Nest, 143 Long Road, Tamborine Mountain.
The event will showcase German culture and the rich tradition of timekeeping with a variety of exciting activities.
There will be German music and entertainment including live performances of traditional German folk music that will bring the festive spirit of Germany to Tamborine Mountain.
Delight in a selection of classic German dishes, including savory sausages, fresh pretzels, and delectable pastries, all prepared to offer an authentic culinary experience.

Since its inception, the German Cuckoo Clock Nest has been committed to preserving the ancient art of clockmaking.
Children’s Clockmaking Workshops will be held on the day, where children can explore the art of clockmaking and create their own mini cuckoo clocks to take home.
