Do you have an interest, expertise or experience in a topic or activity that you would like to share with others in a friendly, informal setting?
If so, the Tamborine Mountain University of the Third Age would love to hear from you.
We are planning our program for 2025 and we want to add new courses to our offerings.
There are many people in our community with all kinds of interests, skills and hobbies that others would love to participate in and learn from.
You don’t have to be an experienced teacher. Enthusiasm is the main criterion for successful tutoring.
And you will always have a captive and eager audience.
Our courses are not traditionally ‘academic’, although courses in history, literature, languages, the sciences, social sciences and creative arts are always welcome.
Hobbies and life experience courses are very popular.
Some courses such as table tennis and Spanish language are held throughout the year.
Others vary from a couple of hours over a week or two to six or eight weeks.
So if its darts or dominoes, Shakespeare’s sonnets or scientific sensations, please give us a call to discuss your ideas, at 0483 222 264
