TAMBORINE Mountain indie rock favourites Blind Corners are hosting their first ever fundraiser gig to help support the recording of their upcoming debut EP release.
Hosted at the recently opened Knoll Studio on Main Street on Friday June 7, the memorable night will showcase the band’s EP, exclusive merchandise, and more.
Blind Corners have a huge local following – recently packing out the Club Tamborine Mountain bowls club in one of the biggest turn-outs by locals in recent times.
Almost all locals, Blind Corners are lifetime locals and graduates of Tamborine Mountain State High School. The four-piece was recently selected out of more than 170 bands to perform at the recent Byron Bay Blues Festival busking competition.
Their song, My Mountain, was filmed on Tamborine Mountain at Knoll Road Studio, and was the track that saw them get selected for Bluesfest.
Sharing the stage with Aussie rock royalty, Blind Corners supported Paul Kelly at the popular Rocking the Rainforest music festival last year, while also playing alongside other bands and acts including Jacob Fitzgerald and Dana Gehrman.
By purchasing a limited ticket to this event, you will be directly contributing to the recording process, and be able to hear all songs from the EP before its release.
* Blind Corners plays at Knoll Studio Tamborine Mountain on Friday, June 7. Doors open at 6:30pm and music starts at 7:30pm. For tickets go to Oztix and search ‘Blind Corners’.
