Abbey always knew she wanted to be a lawyer, and it was natural for her to seek an area of law that combines her critical thinking and compassion.
“I wanted to do something where I could help people and I love to problem solve,” she says.

“I saw what happens when families are fighting after a loved one has passed and I wanted to be able to help people avoid this for their families and sort of give them some peace out of the future”.

Abbey says it’s a thoughtful touch that makes something as daunting as estate planning more relaxed.
“It’s an inherently sort of stressful thing to deal with, because it’s not pleasant to think about the fact they’re going to die. It’s inevitable, but it’s not fun to think about by any means,” she says.
The firm’s mobile service makes for an exciting schedule for Abbey.
One moment she’s in a trendy Brisbane City café, and an hour later she’s shooing geese off the driveway of a client’s farmhouse, she said.
“That’s probably my favourite part. Being able to meet people and help them, and do it in a way that’s very accessible and not as stressful on them,”.
