There’s been no shortage of excitement watching our U7s this year on Tamborine Mountain!
Both our U7s Blue and U7s Green squads have been improving week-to-week, putting together some exciting results and playing some incredible football.
Our U7s Blue team, led by Coach Kate and Dave, started their season with an epic victory over the Nerang Eagles, with their superstar Zach scoring six goals!
They continued to play excellent football, with a hard-fought result over Mudgeeraba and another well-deserved win over Nerang!
The team continued to work together, with the newer players improving each week while the more experienced players continued to grow as leaders.
They faced some tough opponents, with difficult games against Mudgeeraba, Southport, and Nerang, and their confidence has continued to grow each week as they approach the end of a brilliant season.
The group have shown a lot of growth in defence and attack, and always demonstrate great sportsmanship each week.
Our U7s Green team, led by Coach Marc, have been surging through the season with dominant performances each week. With some awesome attacking football, our U7s Green team found themselves on a five-game winning streak before a nail-biting draw in June.
They have continued to show their attacking prowess, fighting until the end to clinch a last-minute draw against Ormeau. Their most exciting game of the season came against the Nerang Eagles, with a 6-4 win on the road and an unbelievable goal from midfield scored by Leo! He then followed up with a last-minute winner in their latest game, sending the team into raptures!
With both our U7s teams improving every week and demonstrating great sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill, the future of football is bright on Tamborine Mountain!
