AS WE reach the sharp end of an eventful 2025 season on Tamborine Mountain, three of our Eagles teams are still vying for a place in the semi-finals.
Our U15s Division One Girls are mounting a daring late finals charge after securing three momentous wins in a row!
A powerful 8-1 victory over top-four challengers Ormeau saw Coach Elle’s girls rise up the ladder, with free-scoring striker Kimberley Bent bagging five.
But the real statement was made on a cold Tuesday night, when our Eagles Girls faced second-place Kingsliff Wolves, who only had one defeat all season.
After falling behind early in the game, the girls struck back with a vengeance, surging to a 5-2 victory!
They continued their season-defining form with a 10-4 triumph on the road against Coomera, giving themselves a strong platform to clinch the fourth spot with two games remaining. Incredible work from the girls!
In a competitive Division 1 competition, our U18s Boys are set to finish runners-up in the league, with a potential home semi-final giving the boys a shot at redemption after last year’s difficult semi-final defeat.
The boys have been in unstoppable form since July, handing Premiers Pimpama their only defeat of the season in a 3-0 demonstration.
They fought from two goals behind to draw 2-2 against the Premiers, and now they’re ready to go all the way!
For our Senior Men, a tough spell that saw them lose three games in a row means the Premiership has eluded us.
Our Eagles Men bounced back from the setback with a strong 1-0 victory on the road against Talley Valley, before Pacific Pines forfeited in what would have been the final game of the regular season.
The boys are now fired up for a home semi-final against Mudgeeraba, fighting for a place in the Grand Final!
