Following the success of the 2026 Tamborine Mountain Arts Trail, Tamborine Mountain Arts Collective (TMAC) is inviting artists, musicians, creative businesses and community members to come together for an evening of ideas, inspiration and collaboration.
The TMAC Creative Connections Forum will be held on Tuesday 14 July at the Vonda Youngman Community Centre, North Tamborine, and aims to build momentum for future arts and cultural initiatives across the mountain.
The evening will begin with networking from 6pm, followed by a panel discussion featuring local arts and cultural leaders including Peter Neville from Groove Note Music, Charlie-Anne Robins from Tamborine Mountain Glades and Renee Martin, convenor of the Tamborine Mountain Arts Trail.
The panel will share insights into sustaining momentum for the arts on Tamborine Mountain, creating new opportunities for artists and creative businesses, and strengthening the mountain’s reputation as a vibrant cultural destination.
Participants will then take part in facilitated World Café-style conversations, providing an opportunity for everyone to contribute ideas and explore possibilities for future exhibitions, music events, creative collaborations, the Arts Trail, a potential sculpture trail and other projects that could enrich the cultural life of Tamborine Mountain.
TMAC President Bronwyn Davies said the forum is about creating connections and turning ideas into action.
“Tamborine Mountain has an extraordinary creative community. This forum is an opportunity for people to come together, share ideas and help shape a vibrant future for arts and culture on the mountain.”
The event is free to attend, and members are encouraged to bring along friends or anyone interested in supporting the arts. Attendees are also invited to bring a plate to share for supper.
