AT this time of year the Monday Painters at Creative Arts like to extend a warm invitation to anyone who would like to join our friendly group of local painters.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve never lifted a paint brush before, but perhaps you have had that burning desire to do so one day. Or you may be a seasoned artist wanting company to get back to a beloved art form.
Creative Arts is a long-standing institution on the Mountain with many groups and activities meeting on their premises beside the historical centre in 53 Wongawallen Road.
For an annual joining fee the door is open not only to Monday Painters but to other arty and social offerings.
Our much loved tutor Stephen Buntrock from the Gold Coast Art School has been conducting classes from the early days of Creative Arts at 1-4pm on Monday afternoons. He charges $20 for an afternoon session.
We are fortunate to have someone with Stephen’s experience and expertise. He encourages us to work on our individual projects at our own pace and to develop as artists on our own road of discovery.
Over the years we have had members working in coloured pencil and crayon, pastels, acrylic and oils.
