Almost 40 people gathered at Main St Providore for Brunch in May to raise money for the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea.
The event, organised by Gayle Webb and local building company, All Seasons Building Services, was a huge success with a range of fabulous prizes auctioned, including a Kym Hart painting and a weekend’s accommodation, dinner and hire of a BMW, raising $3325.
Gayle said it was so enjoyable and surpassed her goal of $1000 to go towards cancer research.
She said there were few people whose lives had not been touched in some way by cancer and raising money for research to prevent and cure cancer was vital.
Main St Providore put on a huge spread of canapes and champagne, ensuring everyone was well fed and watered and a great day.
