Blind Corners, an Indie Rock band local to Tamborine Mountain, have recently begun the process of recording their debut five-song EP (extended play).
To raise funds for this usually costly endeavour, they held a fundraising gig at Knoll Studio where they played a number of covers, alongside a few of their own songs, in front of a very enthusiastic audience. Around 100 tickets were sold; merchandise, food and drinks were also available on the night.
The band is composed of Toby Angus on lead vocals, Joe Denley on bass and piano, Jay Dallas on guitar and Martin Niklasson on drums.
A couple of their songs were written acoustically during the destructive storms around Christmas-time last year and have since been adapted to include electric instruments.
