ANOTHER weekend of rain following the Easter school holidays means that the MiniRoos and Junior Divisional teams have gone almost an entire month without playing any football after their first two games near the end of March.
But midweek football has prevailed and, after a long wait, the U18s Division One boys finally stepped onto the field to play their first game of the 2025 season.
Wet weather, damaged fields, broken floodlights and terrible luck meant that two months into the season, the U18s hadn’t even kicked a ball.
Facing Mudgeeraba at home, the U18s wasted no time brushing off the dust and cruised to a dominant 5-1 victory in front of the Tamborine Mountain supporters.

Meanwhile, the Eagles Senior Men continued their strong form, making it three wins on the bounce after back-to-back victories over Ormeau.
The boys travelled off the Mountain to face Ormeau Blue at Norfolk Park, clinching a hard-fought 1-0 victory courtesy of a second-half strike from Patrick Schomberg.
A massive top-of-the-table clash at Long Road Sports Centre last Wednesday night saw our Eagles Men dominate Ormeau White with a 4-1 victory to move into first place after five games.
