Local car enthusiasts are gearing up to display their vehicles at the 2024 Annual Tamborine Mountain Car Show to be held on the 4th of August the Sports Ground.
Local car enthusiasts are gearing up to display their vehicles at the 2024 Annual Tamborine Mountain Car Show to be held on the 4th of August the Sports Ground.

The Tamborine Mountain Sports Centre, at 400 Long Road, will come alive from 8.00 am on Sunday 4th August when the green lights flash to signify the start of the 2024 Annual Tamborine Mountain Car Show.

Hosted jointly by Rotary e-Club the nextGen and the local Men’s Shed, event planning is revving up to be a high-octane motoring extravaganza with approximately 200 motoring enthusiasts displaying their magnificently presented antique, vintage, classic, custom, muscle, electric cars and bikes.  

Exhibitors will be driving their masterpieces from far and wide to attend, what is shaping up to be one of the most popular automobile attractions in South-East Queensland. Car Show organisers, with the assistance of local businesses, Eagle Heights Hotel, Tamborine Mountain Tyres, Tamborine Mountain Auto Clinic, Carlo’s IGA Store and The Manor will reward the exhibitors with over $2,200.00 in prize money, as well as trophies, in selected categories.

To register display cars and bikes complete a registration form online by using the QR code in the accompanying advertisement or go to www.tamborinemountaincarshow.com.au Display car and bike entrance fee is $5.00 per vehicle, which covers the driver’s or rider’s entrance fee.

Public access will commence from 8am with a carnival atmosphere enhanced with over 20 food/coffee vans and market stalls. Entertainment will be provided by Bella A’Cappella and the local Tamborine Mountain Jazz Band.

Public entry is $10.00 per adult (17 years and above) with children, 16 years and younger, free. Pay cash or by EFTPOS on entry on the day or purchase tickets online by accessing the car show web page. Ample free public car parking will be available on the grounds.

The car show is expected to wrap up around 1.00 pm after the awards presentation ceremony and major raffle draw, which offers $2,600.00 in prizes comprising a $1,200.00 Sidchrome mobile, 5-drawer mechanics toolbox, a $500.00 ‘Stay and Play’ golf package courtesy of the The Manor and Tamborine Mountain Golf Course, $460.00 Treetop Challenge tickets, $161.00  Gold Coast Wake Park vouchers, $120.00 Gold Coast Motor Museum vouchers and a $96.00 Glow Worm Cavesfamily pass.

Funds raised will be directed to organizations supported by Rotary and the Men’s Shed.
