TAMBORINE Mountain Arts Trail wrapped up for another year, with artist Colleen Lavender winning the award for best sculpture with ‘Camp’, a horse sculpture made from repurposed star pickets and building materials.
‘Camp’ is about one of Colleen’s horses that she had for 32 years and the fond memories of the horse.
“I love rust, I’m the rust queen, and he’s been outdoors for 12 months or more so he’s got a good bit of character,” said Colleen.
