For over three decades, the Lions Club internationally has sponsored a Peace Poster Competition for students aged 11-13, to encourage children to think about peace and how to create it.
The 2025 theme was ‘Together As One’. The competition was particularly timely, with so many conflicts raging in the world.
St Bernard State School and Tamborine Mountain College participated. Entrants were encouraged by their teachers to thoughtfully address the topic and put forward their best artistic effort.
Lions Peace Poster Co-ordinator Nicky Clark was delighted with the standard of all the entries.
Congratulations to all entrants, the teachers and schools. Winners Clare Fuss and Natasha Nikiteev did beautiful work; Natasha also won last year.
